Sandy Cohen was murdered in July 1986. He was a closeted gay Jewish man, a two-term city commissioner in Covington Kentucky, and would have been an unofficial uncle to a dear friend of mine.
For 40 years, his story has been untouched. His murder was solved, but the memories and accounts of that day leave much unresolved.
This documentary is our attempt to honor him and bring closure to his closest living friends and family. It is currently in production.
